CALNET announced today that it has won an award for the Persistent Surveillance – Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (PS-ISR) contract with the Army Research Laboratory in Adelphi, MD.
CALNET will provide Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in technology disciplines to include sensors, cloud computing, multi-source data fusion, munitions detection systems, Signal Processing Tools and concepts, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) tool automation capabilities, and Counter-Improvise Explosive Devices (C-IED) technologies/systems in asymmetric, counter-terrorism, and counter-insurgency warfare scenarios. These SMEs will provide requirements, assessments, and recommendation on technologies that enable the conversion of sensor data and intelligence data to actionable intelligence and enable the local commander to make informed real-time decisions based on all available intelligence. This support is especially critical for the warfighter engaged in counter-terrorism, counter-insurgency, and counter-proliferation efforts under Overseas Contingency Operations.
