CALNET announced today that it was part of a team led by CACI International Inc, (CACI) to provide Global Linguist Support Services through Force Projection Operations worldwide in more than 20 mission-critical languages in support of the U.S. Department of Defense.
Contract is to provide high-quality, training, linguist, and analyst services in support of the Department of Defense Language Interpretation and Translation Enterprise (DLITE) Force Projection Operations worldwide. The Department of Defense (DoD) and its Combatant Commands are supporting numerous contingency missions and operations to support the U.S. National Security Strategy (NSS) objectives. These missions and operations include a variety of global campaigns, such as: the Global War on Terror (GWOT), Operation Iraqi Free (OIF), Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), and additional duties working side-by-side with forces organized under the United Nations (UN), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and other joint, combined, and coalition task forces. In addition to contingency requirements, there are routine missions and operations requirements needed to support U.S. military with linguist capability to communicate, decipher, translate, and interpret with other foreign military units as well as interact with the host nation government.
